There's one sided mirror with your name
Etched into the metal on the lower right corner.
As you stare into the mirror you see a reflection.
The image you see is what you want to imagine,
But cannot receive.

Days passing through your eyes like shooting stars across the sky.
Night creeps onto your shoulders giving a chilling embrace
Cornering yourself in your room and looking into the mirror,
The image becomes distorted day after day to adjust to our needs
Like manipulating a blade of grass into a rock.

This mirror isn't just any other for it represents your mind.
The temptation, choices, lies, misconducts, shameful acts and ignorance
That tries to adjust its image to define you as yourself.

It is you...you once wasn't, but now are, a distorted image you created.
Everything was just fantasy up until the point where you tried so hard
Making it possible to twist the delicate flower you once was
Into the stem of a dying, dreadful object.

If you want to restart, it's never too late actually for there's a way to do so.
It's a painful experience though a worthwhile journey to change.
All you need to do is hold out your delicate hands and make a fist.

Good...now punch through the distorted image that mirror created and start anew.
Recreate that is broken into something new just like recycling,
For I have faith in you and I always did.

Even if I haven't met you or saw your face
I don't care, but I care that you exist so I have faith that you can succeed.
I did... took me 5 years and it was incredibly painful,
But I loved the outcome it had for me and it was worthwhile to this day.
